Bob Baker Marionette Theater
Our family recently had the pleasure of attending the Bob Baker Marionette Theatre's latest show, Fiesta. The theatre, located in the heart of Los Angeles, is a unique and beloved institution that has been entertaining audiences with its handcrafted puppet shows for over 75 years.
From the moment we walked into the theatre, we knew we were in for a special treat. The cozy space was filled with colorful, whimsical decorations, and we could hear the lively sounds of music and laughter coming from the stage.
As the lights dimmed and the show began, my two girls were completely captivated by the puppet characters, who danced and sang their way through a series of festive scenes celebrating Mexican culture and traditions. The intricate and detailed marionettes were brought to life by the skilled puppeteers, who seamlessly controlled their movements and expressions.
Throughout the show, my girls were completely engaged and entranced by the lively music, colorful costumes, and dynamic choreography of the marionettes. They were laughing, clapping, and singing along with the catchy tunes, and it was clear that they were having an absolute blast.
As the show came to a close and the final puppet bowed, my girls were beaming with excitement and happiness. They couldn't stop talking about all of the amazing puppets and scenes they had just witnessed, and they were already planning their next visit to the Bob Baker Marionette Theatre.
There's also ice cream for everyone at the end of each show. What a treat.
